Thank you for hanging in there with me. It has been some month. I finally broke down and purchased a new system that could support our Ring without any problems. It was a snow-ball effect with one thing after another happening. It was a futile attempt trying to patch it up.
Now, the server has a power-house dual core processor, tons of RAM, and a massive hard drive...well suited to keep our Ring going for many years into the future.
I apologize for not keeping our site up-to-date as well as I should. My work has been keeping me very busy, working 80+ hours a week....BUT, I have not forgotten about my responsibility...nor about you.
I thank all of our members for their continued support and patience. We have an awesome Ring with some awesome members from all over the world from China to the Soviet Union, and South America, Europe, Canada and the United States.

|Pipe Lover's Ring now has its own domain!
After sharing the domain with my business address for the past couple of months, I thought it was time that our ring had its own domain. Look up in your address bar and you will see it: pipeloversring.com.
It still will be sharing some of the same files with my other domains, but by and large it is on its own.
What this means is that we will be fully indexed by all of the search engines, including Google. We will also have our own email addresses, so if anybody wants one, let me know. There are lots of advantages, so it really was a no-brainer in deciding to get one.
I also updated the code so if anybody wishes to get a fresh copy of the code just sign on like you did when you registered the first time and click the HTML code get button. In fact, I would encourage everyone to do so if you are able to.
Here is a step-by-step guide to get you started:
1) Go to: http://www.todaysfreetips.com/cgi-bin/ringlink/siteadmin.cgi
2) For Site ID, choose: 24201
3) Enter your Site ID and Password that you used to register.
4) Once logged-in, click the Get Code button.
5) Highlight all of the HTML code then right-click, then copy.
Note: Some web-sites require all of the code to be on one line, so if you are having trouble getting the code to function properly, select the button that says One line.
Another issue is that some sites require the use of single quotes instead of double quotes. It has come up for me a few times in the past, and that is when I tried to place code inside another form or table such as an iFrame division tag. Simply just replace all of the double quotes with single ones. You will definitely have to have all of the code on One Line if you change the doubles to singles.
6) Replace the old code with the new using Notepad or other HTML editor program.
That is pretty much it. If anyone wants me to send them the code, just send me an email asking me, and I will be glad to do so.
Thanks again for being a part of our Ring, and making it what it is today.
The new code for our ring had a little trouble getting off the ground, but after working out a few bugs, I feel that it is ready to replace the old code that most of you still have on your site.
A special thanks to Catini Pipes, David Wagner and a few others, I was able to test the code and work out all of the bugs and glitches. One thing I did was by default made all of the code on one line, so be sure that ALL of the code is highlighted before copying it to your clipboard. This way it will work on every type of web page. Should you run into any trouble, let me know so that I can address it personally.
|Welcome our Newest Members
|I would like to extend an wholehearted welcome to our newest members!
Le Pipe di Aqualong, our latest member and featured site is a pipe maker from Italy. His great work speaks for itself, and some would call him legendary who needs no introduction. The owner, Enzo Foresti, happens to also be our president on our Facebook page. Please be sure to visit his site, and also our Facebook page, Friends of Pipe Lover's Ring. I am touched by all of his work, and I am sure you will be also.
J. Rinaldi Pipes also needs no introduction. He is a pipe maker from Arizona. He and his wife have a shop where they work together making beautiful pipes and one-of-a-kind pipe stands. Also, don't miss some of his regional photography taken from sunny Arizona. I can not tell you how impressed I was.
Mars Cigars and Pipes remains a small, personalized business that can provide you the cigar and pipe smoker with cigars, pipes, snuff and tobaccos at affordable prices AND owner to customer contact. They are committed to making your smoking experience a positive experience. If it is not, they will make it right.
They were started by long time cigar and pipe lover, Mike Rutt, to fill a need to provide quality cigars, pipes and tobaccos at affordable prices to fellow cigar and pipe smokers. They look forward to be of service to you.
Again, I would like to thank all for being a part of our Ring...and please remember, I am here for YOU. It is my pleasure as a fellow pipe smoker and pipe enthusiasts.

|The holidays are upon us, and now is the time to really start promoting your goods. Shoot me an email explaining which pipe or product you would like to be advertised on this site and I will be glad to put it up for you. Remember this is free advertising for you, 7/24.
|Thanks for making the past two weeks a rewarding experience for me. The thought had borne into my mind about a month ago, then I said 'what the heck!' and decided to give it a try. Glad I did.
You may be thinking that there is not enough room on here to place your banner or ad...on the contrary, there is plenty of room. The way I work them is through a php script that rotates them every time the page refreshes. It is really quite simple. So if you are thinking about placing one on here, just shoot one over to me via email or I can can get something from your page and put it together. Either way it will work. Another thing to keep in mind is that you could put together an ad campaign promoting certain items, say a pipe that you just made, for a specific amount of time. Somebody may be looking for a special pipe for dad for Christmas, who knows?
Just something for you to think about. Also, if you have any suggestions on how I can improve on this site, don't hesitate to run it by me. I am open.

If you feel like you've got a little time on you hands, why not try your hand at a round of miniature golf. Some of the holes has proven to be somewhat challenging, at least for me.
